The Dialogue Institute of Greater Kansas City Metro Area
hosts Coffee Nights as well as Baklava Days with different
communities, as well as the Turkic Food Fests on our calendar:

Northeast Arts KC offers The Kansas City Midtown Coloring Book,
featuring 20 homes and buildings in historic Midtown KC neighborhoods.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Take advantage of interactive learning opportunities, ranging from foreign language
conversation groups to multicultural recreational dance.
DANCE:Recreational dance groups in Kansas City include old-time contra dance, English
dance, and ethnic and international dance groups. There are several participatory dance
groups meeting in Kansas City, including international dancing at 7:00 pm on Friday evenings

LANGUAGE: Foreign language conversation groups meet on a consistent basis and provide

"Mesa Espanol" is an informal Spanish conversational group which meets on the 2nd and 4th
